Six classroom staples. Note: 'desk' is the school desk; 'table' is the general word for any table at home or a restaurant.

Four more you'll use weekly. 'Scissors' is always plural in English — 'the scissors are sharp', never 'the scissor is sharp'.

🇧🇷 'At the front of' = na frente de. 'At the back of' = no fundo de.
Exercise 8

- Yes, there is.answer
- Yes, it has.
- Yes, it is.
- Yes, have.
For existence ('there is/are'), the short answer is 'Yes, there is.' or 'No, there isn't.' Not 'it has' (that's Portuguese 'tem').
🇧🇷 Cuidado: em inglês 'tem' no sentido de existir é 'there is/are', não 'have'.
